Melanin Rose Beauty was founded by mother-daughter duo Tamara Scott and Naomi Greenlee, with a mission to provide natural, nourishing beauty products and skin care services, including expert waxing by a licensed esthetician.
Our journey began when Tamara, as a child, struggled with severe eczema. Doctors doubted her skin would ever be clear, but her mother, a woman of deep faith, prayed relentlessly—and her prayers were answered. Though Tamara’s skin cleared, it remained extremely sensitive. Over time, she struggled to find products that were gentle yet effective. Popular brands left her skin irritated, which inspired her to create her own solution.
What began as a homemade body butter to soothe her hands evolved into a line of multipurpose oils, body butters, fragrances, men's skin care and products designed to nourish, heal, and protect the skin using natural, homeopathic ingredients. Tamara wanted products that didn’t contain harsh chemicals—products where she knew exactly what was in them. Now, our products offer a safe and effective way to care for sensitive skin while complementing your favorite beauty routine.
